Festive fun for all the family – the more the merrier!
We would be so grateful if your school/group would take up the opportunity to promote our Santa Fun Runs to your group community this month. These 5km runs/walks/jogs in Bushy Park are a perfect way to get the whole family involved in some collective festive fun, which we know how much our young people have missed out on during the last couple of years.
We’ve emailed your group already about our Elf Run events that are organised just for children, so please do focus on those instead if you would prefer to. However, we’ve been thinking about the much-needed focus on mental wellbeing in schools/group and know our Santa Fun Runs would be a perfect way to promote some much-needed fun within group communities this Christmas. On 4 or 11 December 2022, families can run together, or get together with friends, other families and carers to form teams, or why not get your school House teams to run together? When it comes to this year’s Santa Fun Runs, it really is a case of the more the merrier!
How you could promote the event:
· We have this poster to print and display on your school noticeboards.
· You could include a link to the poster in your next school newsletter out to parents and carers, with wording along these lines:
Festive fun for friends and family
Since the start of the pandemic, we know it’s been a difficult time for many people in our group community. As a group, we’re promoting the Princess Alice Hospice’s Santa Fun Run this year, as a great way to get our young people involved in a fun, festive activity with family, carers and friends, while at the same time raising funds for this amazing local charity. We think the events would be a great way to get our children engaged with a fun, healthy activity that gives them the chance to team up with their friends and families for something fun and festive for Christmas.
