The 2018 Group Diary is now available. This includes not only the dates of the main camps, including Summer Camps for Scouts & Explorers, District Camp etc, which have been issued previously but also the dates of the all the District and County events, Scout Fair, Open Day, Quiz Night, Jumble Sales, etc which are mostly new information. Please print this out now and put it up on your family noticeboard!
The jumble sale is going ahead as planned, despite the weather.

1st Hinchley Wood Scout Group are holding their autumn Jumble Sale on Saturday 3 March from 10:30 to 12:30.
There are stalls for clothes, books, games, bric-a-brac, linens, shoes and children’s clothes.
Entry is £1 entry per person. Tea and coffee will be available.

The Scout Christmas Post is now in operation again from Saturday 9 December until the last collection on Friday 22 December.
The bright yellow boxes are strategically placed around the area. Postage is a bargain at a suggested 30p per item, more than a 50% discount on Royal Mail’s second class post. Simply post your Christmas mail in one of our boxes together with coins (loose) to cover the postage. Please remember to put the full address and postcode!

The service is being operated by Scouts and Explorers who are also working towards their Fundraising Activity Badges.
All proceeds from the Post will go equally to RNLI, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution the charity that saves lives at sea, and to support our three scouts selected to travel to the World Jamboree in the USA in 2019.
